If FCOPY didn't show any nulls or unprintable characters, then I would say
you are fine.  I have found it to be the best way to tell.

Sorry for the confusion,    I should have mentioned that I placed the <RC>
in the e-mail that I sent because it wouldn't be anyway to display one.
And I also initialized the record before writing to it.

I also tried using FCOPY FROM=PAK05M05;TO=;CHAR;HEX

This showed me that there were no nulls or unprintable characters.
