You did not specify which release of MPE/iX, Allbase and ODBC you are using.
 
The current version of Allbase, G1.13 and ODBC G1.05, on MPE 5.0 uses a single job
as an listener and spawns son processes to handle each individual ODBC connection.
It is fast and efficent.
