I am experiencing problems with my HP LaserJet 5Si MX disappearing
from view via AppleTalk.  The printer has an IP address and responds
to pings, but all our Macintoshes do not see it as accessible to
them.
 
Cycling the power on the printer restores the AppleTalk visibility
of the printer when the problem occurs.
 
The question is whether what I experience is a bug in the printer or
some tempermental hardware problem specific to this printer.
