The planning team at HP will be meeting next week to discuss the comments made
on the HP3000-L and OpenMPE lists as to why the customer base would like HP to
remove the restriction of MPE/iX booting on 9x7 boxes.

Several very good comments were made by some in the community; it would help HP
to have more comments to discuss from more people and companies in the
community and will show HP a wider base of interest. It's long been recognized
that there is a "silent majority" out there - but now is the time to speak and
write up!

If you have already commented on you or your company's reasons why HP should
change their corporate position and allow MPE/iX 7.0/7.5 to boot on 9x7 boxes,
thank you. If you want to add to your comments please do! If you haven't
commented yet, please do so this week.

The question has been posed to HP, and HP will be discussing the issue next week
and possibly making a decision. Now is the time the user base can make a
difference and get from HP what the customer base wants.
