        Hi fellow listers !

        I've been asked the strangest question so far this year by my
supervisor :
        what's the OFFICIAL language of the State of California ? Of course,
I know
        Spanish is widely used, but I want to know the OFFICIAL aspect of
things.

        Our secretary and myself are sure it's English (or American, or
        Californian), my boss maintains it's Spanish. That leaves the three
of us
        in dire need for qualified advice.

        Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
