The CSY R&D Lab is putting the finishing touches (i.e. testing) the
HP3000 version of this utility.  It should be available via the
Response Center in a couple of days.  When it is available, I'll
make sure there's a post here with more details, including how to
get it.
 
For your information, the only HP3000's exposed to this problem
are some 987's.
