The above HPSTDIN_* CI variables were added by Eero and may only apply
to NS/VT connections.

The above variable and HPREMPORT, HPREMIPADDR and HPLOCIPADDR
were added to 5.5 (I think the NS/VT vars were patched on 5.0 systems too),
and apply to all network connections.  They are described in the 5.5
Communicator article on jazz.
