I used to think Franken was funny, back in the days of Franken & Davis and
the old
Saturday night live show. Having seen him lately a few times on tv, I now
just find him pathetic.

This is a big waste of funds. I know it is not my money (I can't afford the
time
off to go to the show, even if someone paid my way  :-(   )
but if I did go, I probably would skip his bit.

It is most likely too late to cancel, but we can always hope
he will miss the plane and be unable to attend.

Ditto...  and consider:  $25K would buy about one-third of a
half-page ad for the HP 3000 in the WSJ...   Now *there*
would be a good use of Interex funds (no:  I'm NOT holding
my breath)....

Gotta get back to real work for a couple more hours;  then
email backlog....
