I can say without further research that pig smells much better being
cooked then in does in a barn. I wonder if I can get part of that
research funding... even just the amount after the decimal point would
be sufficient.

Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: Pork in gov't spending now really stinks!

Ok, this is almost too funny if it weren't true. Yup, Pork spending a
Congress has risen (umm, fallen) to a new level of stench:

************************************************************************
***************************************************

The legislation in question is a $410 billion omnibus bill that would
keep the federal government running through the rest of the fiscal year,
which ends in September 2009.

According to Taxpayers for Common Sense, a group that monitors
government spending, the bill includes:

* Nearly $1.8 million for pig odor research in Iowa
