Just being completely paranoid we did our final Y2K test on our 3000 this
past weekend. We have a 947RX release 6 power patch 1 + additional patches
as suggested on HP's web site.
We set the clock ahead to 1999/12/31 11:55 pm and watched it roll over. We
then tested as many of our applications as possible. Everything worked great
we only had a minor problem with one Transact problem because it was using
the Julian date (yyddd) so the returned date was 00001 and our code did not
like that answer.
So I thought I would pass this along just incase anyone else was think of
doing this.
We use:
RPGII
Cobol
Transact
Starjet
Faxlink/3000
Adager
Intermec hand held radio frequency terminals
Microscan barcode scanners
