        We are trying to convert some Turbo Image databases to IMAGE/SQL.
Everything appears to work pretty well, except for the mapping of J4 Data
Types.  They all get changed to CHAR(20).  This of course is of no use as
we can then not do proper calculations with them.
        Our ultimate goal is to use these databases through ODBC into
MS Access and Excel, or Visual Basic.
        Does anyone have a workaround for this.  I've searched all the
documentation we have and found nothing.
        Any help would be greatly appreciated.
