Which is why I stated total figures. The IRS is refunding everything I paid.
So, after Bush's tax cuts, and the increase in the child tax credit, I will
pay no federal income taxes on my salary, etc. I would therefore say that I
benefited from Bush's tax cuts.

John Kerry's home state wants a total of $1038; the check is in the mail.
They adjusts income less, therefore taxes more. The Commonwealth actually
raised taxes this year, by rescinding the voter-mandated roll back of an
expired, temporary tax increase, and rescinding the charitable contribution
deduction. That's very democratic of them, pun intended. And while the
economy is recovering and creating some new jobs, the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts experienced "negative job growth". Clearly, the other
forty-nine states need more of what Massachusetts has.

Isn't there a size limit on postings? Of course, income tax touches every
dollar I earn, whether it is income, salary, or wages. Sales tax, while
regressive, only makes me pay when I buy taxed goods. Some of these, I can
avoid, in some measure, although that gas tax is tough to beat.

So, when is someone going to throw some more red meat to the crowd, and
mention the current Mrs. Kerry declining to make public her income tax
statement?
