[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 12 May 1997 08:05:41 PDT404_- Following up to Stan and Michael's custom MPEX %LISTF file to count the total
source lines in a given fileset, I think one would be better off massaging
the output of the existing MPEX %LISTF,ID command. This has the advantage of
correctly reporting the number of source lines in any QEDIT files inside the
fileset, and avoids changing the access/modify timestamps of any QEDIT files. [...]38_12May199708:05:[log in to unmask]

Hello again,

As you can see, I'm having another problem, this time affecting most
of my users. The dreaded database deadlock. We have had seven
occurances in the past week. Even though we seem to have fixed the
problem (*keeps fingers crossed*), we are trying to look as to what may
have caused these deadlocks, and we would like to think that the
applications did it, but in order for that to be known, we have to
eliminate any new hardware/software that was installed recently.

The only thing that we have new is Reflection for Windows 5.2. Again,
we are running an HP3000/957 on MPE/iX 5.0.

My question is using a V/3000/Image application, and that the user
tabs out (in Windows, to go to another program), can Reflection for
Windows actually be suspending the processes? or does it continue running
the processes? in all cases?

   Thanks
