I would be tempted to try and quantify the problem. A company I was
working for had suspect power in the computer room and HP lent us a
monitor that printed out a summary of the power statistics. The reported
voltage fluctuations and transients induced us to install a power
stabiliser for all computers and comms gear in the computer room. Net
result better reliability and if you have a Novell Netware Server fewer
messages broadcast to the users about power glitches.

There often seems to be a difference in what the Electricity people
promise and reality.
