Greetings,

I recently installed two DDS-3 drives to our HP 967, so that I can get all of my data on just on 12/24 GB tape, and hence get a few more much needed hours of sleep ( its so nice not to have to worry about backups at 3 AM). What I was wondering is when we bought the drives, it mentioned a functionality called RAW ( Read after Write) which was available, and would seem to eliminate the need for running VSTORE after the Backup to verify the tape. I called the Response Center, and surprise...they didn't know if that feature could be used. I just wondered if anyone out there is using or had heard of this feature, and could clue me in on its use for the 3000 ( or even if such a use exists).

Thanks in advance for you assistance.
