Call me old-fashioned, but isn't one of the unspoken rules of netiquette

as you know so much about history you might be able to answer the
following
question.

Why didn't America declare war in 1939 to Germany?
Germany declared war on the US in december 1941 as it was an allie of
Japan
at that time.
That was after Germany had overrun most of Europe.
Still, no declaration of war.
So, please stop telling everyone, that the mighty US protects the
innocent
and fights dictators everywhere. That is just not true.
It uses dictators as long as they are usefull.
They are being armed and supported
See Saddam, Noriega and many many others.
