The latest & greatest versions of the online Help files for MPEX, Security/3000 & Veaudit from
Vesoft are now available in a Windows Help File format and are searchable by keyword.

Practically speaking this means no more having to sign on to the HP3000 to use Vesoft's online help
facility. It also means that you have a greatly enhanced capability to search the help files by
keyword, making it easier to find the information you need.

Version 28 Help files are now available (these are the latest & greatest from Vesoft). This represents
an update to the existing version 26 file previously available for MPEX on the site.

This also represents an introduction of Help files for Security/3000 & Veaudit based on version 28 of
these products. So now you have access to Windows Help files for the complete array of Vesoft
products.

All credit goes to Jamie Dickson [mailto:[log in to unmask]] for the creation of these masterpieces, I
simply handle distribution. Be sure to look for inclusion of these files on the next CSL tape. Also,
please be sure to thank Jamie for all the work that went into these.

Additional thanks goes to Vesoft for permission to make these versions of their help files available to
the HP3000 community.

To download the files, point your FTP client or Web Browser as follows:

site is ftp.primenet.com
User is anonymous
password is courry@
directory is /users/c/courry
file names are self explanatory and are not zipped (total size about 1Mb for all three)

You may even use your browser if you wish, just use

ftp.primenet.com/users/c/courry

If you are using Windows 95/98 I suggest you place the files in C:/WINDOWS/HELP
If you are using Windows NT I suggest you place the files in C:/WINNT/HELP

Then simply create an icon to point to them.

Enjoy!
