Kelly Johnson has long been one of my heroes. He founded the LADP
(Lockheed Advanced Development Projects) AKA Skunk Works, way back in the
1940's. He was succeeded by Ben Rich in 1975. Ben carried on the great
tradition and during his tenure, the F-117 was conceived, designed, built,
delivered and used successfully. Sadly I have never met either gentleman,
nor will I ever, as they have both passed away.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Subject: Interesting parallels with Lockheed Martin Skunk Works

HP's CSY is doing all the right things for the HP3000 platform with a gusto
that is contagious. There are some fascinating parallels with the famous
Skunk Works, even though the SIGIMAGE Executive Committee has more than 20
members :-)

Visit http://www.careermosaic.com/cm/lockheed/lmsw1.html to learn about the
Basic Operating Rules of The Skunk Works ("Kelly's Rules").
