Good idea - and you've offered a good startup list.

But, in the absence of such a complete 
list,  before acquiring any printer for use on my 
HP3K (or HP9K), I would check out the specs for 
it - which should be readily available at the 
printer vendor web site - and ensure it offered native PCL capability.
