Interesting map but it really depends how you interpret it.

It appears that there are two main areas with 29+ years of education.
One being South Texas!

I think, John, that it's the other way round. 29+% of the people have
less than 9 years' education.

 More likely in areas with high immigration, partly because other
countries' schools might not be accepted as valid in the US.

 And of course, there's education and education. You'd have to spend a
long time at Gardner Ted Armstrong's university - or McDonald's' -
before being considered educated by snobs like me.
