As with most ftp clients, just specify the target name as the
second parameter.  Here's a transfer from our Alpha to our
927 (user input _underlined_):
 
  $ _ftp hp927lx_
  220 HP ARPA FTP Server [A0007003] (C) Hewlett-Packard Co. 1990
  Connected to HP927LX.telamon.com.
  Name (HP927LX.telamon.com:manager): _manager.telamon_
