Has anyone heard of any issues with 6.0 systems and single line spool files
not issuing a form feed when they are done printing to term type 18 serial
printers.

I can duplicate this problem any time by
creating a 1 line EDITOR file.

EDITOR
/A
1 THIS IS A SINGLE LINE EDITOR FILE.
//
/K ONELINE
/E

Then sending the file to the printer.

:FILE TESTPRNT=TESTPRNT;DEV=PRT18 (WHERE PRT18 IS A TERM TYPE 18 SERIAL
PRINTER)
:FCOPY FROM=ONELINE;TO=*TESTPRNT

This will give you a spoolfile with the one line in it.

If you print the spoolfile, it will not form feed when it has printed.

I connected the DTC port to a terminal and turned display functions on, and
there is no form feed at the end of the file when it prints.

The true problem is not with a one line EDITOR file, but with an application
printing a one line spoolfile(a lable), this example is just a way to
duplicate the issue.

A two or more line file will work just fine.
