Yes....if a post is made to comp.sys.hp.mpe (or mailed to HP3000-L) then
a presumption of "HP-related" is reasonable.
 
Even if it weren't, the rest of my points are still valid.
 
If it had been clear that it was a Unix/PC-only survey, I'd probably
have commented anyway (without the MPE line), since faulty surveys
(or questionaires) are a "pet peeve" of mine.
