Hello, Michael!

I am in the same boat as you (closer than you think). We have been
working around the Maestro/MM3000 problem by using some creative
means. There are some assumptions being made:

1) Maestro is NOT going to adapt to the AAMMDD format (at least not in
any time frame that will allow us to finish our remediation in time.
Maybe not even in my lifetime).

2) The various entities that use Maestro/MM3000 wish to continue using
Maestro. A great many intricate schedules seem to be built around it.

3) Maestro parameters will always be in non Y2k format, so we'll
always have to modify them.

Using those assumptions, the options are (and I am sure others will
come up with many more):

1) Use a Suprtool/Transact quickie to translate the Maestro parameter
into a file containing a date in AAMMDD format. This file can be used
by Suprtool and Askplus. We are still working on a Quiz solution.

2) Use program CBDATEX (which I wrote) to translate two Maestro
parameters into a file containing a range of AAMMDD dates which can be
used as a Suprtool table. This can replace a Suprtool test like:

If date1 >= Maestroparm1 and date1 < Meastroparm2

Email me at work and I can give you more details.
