I am relatively new to this discussion group (about a month), and as per
this question I hope you have not all been here, done this ...
to death. ;-)

We have a 925LX in our relatively small School of Optometry here at the
University of Alabama at Birmingham (Roll Tide/Go Blazers). We have
recently installed 10BaseT connections to the Internet in each of the
offices in the School. We have no network running, each connection goes
through a gateway to the Internet.

What I would like to know is, how do I bypass the DTC and allow access to
the 3K from the Internet? Many of our PC and MAC users are connected to the
3K through the DTC via serial lines. I have had a 10BaseT connection
installed near the DTC in preparation for the connection. I have experience
in connecting PCs and MACs to the Internet, but none in connecting them to
the 3K.

So, to avoid great run-around and gnashing of teeth, I present this able
group of 3K professions with my query(s).

What additional hardware is required?
What additional PC/Mac software is required?
What additional 3K software is required?
How much Post-Traumatic-Stress disorder counseling will be required?

Thank you in advance for your advice.
