Hello everyone,
Can anyone help me out with the following scenario?
When a web browser (Netscape) is pointed to 'http://10.10.1.4:901'
(Attempted to start SWAT, from Inetd, MPE 6.5, pp2 HP-e3000/928LX)
I get the msg 'Connection reset by peer', and the Inetd $STDLIST contains:
Received call for: swat tcp
getpwnam: root: No such user
Anyone have a clue how I can get SWAT to run correctly, what am I missing here?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The /etc/inetd.conf entry looks like this:
swat stream tcp nowait.400 MGR.SAMBA /usr/local/samba/bin/swat swat
The /etc/services entry looks like this:
swat 901/tcp
The file '/usr/local/samba/bin/swat ' is actually a SymLink to SWAT.SAMBA.SYS
SWAT Program file details:
