Brian, that's one of the two big things they're stealing now. the metal(s) in the 
catalytic converter is that valuable now. You should have driven down to your 
local junk yard. They probably had it there! I think they're debating big 
penalties here now if caught with a converter thay can't account for with a 
vin number.
The other big thing is GPS systems
