Jim,

I see that your email has garnered some caustic replies, and
that you are resentful of those replies because you don't understand why
your email would merit a such a reply.

Let me try to help explain: Jim, when you are out of work, you
come to the list with 'hat in hand' looking for someone to offer you
leads for work or work itself, and you make no mention of paying anyone
for the info they might provide. However, now, and in the past, when
you've found what appears to be gainful employment, you come to this
list offering info you have that may be of help to someone else looking
for work, but you want remuneration for the information. That, Jim,
tends to rub people the wrong way, and rightfully so.

Jim, I wish you all the best in your new employment, but as in
the pat, things may not turn out for you as well as you hope they might,
and the goodwill that you spread now will be repaid in kind later. So,
rather than trying to gain monetarily from someone else's misfortune (of
being unemployed in the 3k world), you might send an email to the list
offering those that are unemployed info on where they might find hp3k
work, and do this for the same fee you offer when using the list to try
to find work for yourself?

Warm regards,

Raymond Shahan
