I've just put up a new version of QCTerm (Version 2.1, December 9, 2003). You
may wonder why this version skips from the previous version (Version 1.02) to
2.1 in such a big jump.

This version is the first publicly released that contains QCForms, a very
nice forms mode that allows the development of elaborate forms capability quite
simply and in a manner that is completely platform agnostic. We've been working
with various HP3000 developers for the last year in perfecting the QCForms
mode. Version 2.1 is the result of those efforts. However, the use the QCForms
is an optional process, separate from the terminal emulator functions. If you
never use QCForms, you'll never notice its presence.

In regards to QCTerm itself, this version fixes up a few minor problems that
have been reported over the last half year. If you reported one of those
problems, this version should have your fix in it.

If you are interested in developing new (or migrating) applications with
QCForms, please write and we'll send you preliminary information on how to create
forms in QCTerm. Support for developers is free and unlimited. Much more
information on QCForms will soon be appearing on its own web page, as will example
forms on our internet-accessible demonstration HP3000, but that information is
not available at the moment.
