When I was in elementary school in Antigua Guatemala, a childish story
was making the rounds. Except for inflation (and devaluation), the
point is still valid:
- Why are you running behind this diesel-smoke-belching bus?
- I am saving the Q.0.05 that I would have to pay for the bus fare.
- How dumb of you! Why don't you run behind a taxi and save Q.3?
It's nice to see that new-and-improved versions of this story
continue to be released. How nostalgic.
Gotta run,
