I had been unable to get win95 to print correctly to our network
printers over novell running on our 937 using mpeix 5.0. Recently I
purchased a new pc with what is apparently a somewhat different version
of win95 (although it has the same build # 4.00.950a) that seems to
have solved the problem. I could not get the microsoft client for
netware to connect at all (it crashes when it attempts to login via a
dos shell) so I was fiddling with the client for microsoft networks. I
was able to get a directory on the 937 novell server via network
neighborhood and could map a drive letter to it so we could run things
like syscon and pconsole. Further testing revealed that (lo and
behold) I could now print to the network printers! Prior to this
version of win95, any attempt to print directly resulted in a hung
queue. Has anyone else encountered these problems and/or had success
with recent win95 builds?

Regards,
RAF
