Last night, I wrote a message that should have waited until this morning after
some sleep. (This is what is meant about really wanting to use that SEND key
and reading your posts first).

Unfortunately, when one feels passionately about an issue as the one I wrote
about, and sees from both private messages and public posts, misinformation or
plain information needing some correction -- and that person should be in bed
instead of working -- words like this come out.

Please don't get me wrong - I meant what was conveyed -- the light profanity
could have been left out, and the tone could have come down a little. I
apologize for the tone and words used in that post - it was not the right thing
to do nor the right way to convey the message.

A couple of list-friends (ones I've not yet met but hope to meet soon), and
several friends said privately and publically (at least one meant to say it
privately ;-) that I needed a stiff drink or some time off. Actually, what I
need is a vacation as I haven't had one in a year. That comes this Saturday,
when basically no one (except for those who know my mobile # - and they are
*very* few) will find me for an entire week. On the other hand - I am starting
my vacation from HP3000-L a few days early as I have already set my
subscription to NOMAIL until I return.

Again, my apologies - and I'll see you in a little over a week.

Regards,
Joe
