I strongly disagree, but then perhaps I'm doing myself a disservice by
commonly posting with this address.

Some innocuous examples that come to mind why someone might prefer asking
such a question with relatively anonymity:

1. Attempting to minimize spam to a corporate or otherwise "primary" email
address.

2. The business might have policies that make posting to mailing lists and
newsgroups with corporate email addresses disallowed, inadvisable or
perhaps only uncomfortable.

3. The machine might belong to an individual rather than a business.

4. The question might come from someone who prefers not to disclose that
his company or perhaps himself has to ask how to do this.  [Hey:  Maybe
it's "the new guy" at Allegro or Beechglen or someplace like that!  ;) ]

5. Well... hopefully you get the idea.  :)
