Hi all,
I have a question about CoBOL-programs in different countries.
We use Microfocus-Cobol
My software should soon run also in India and turkey. Currently it runs in the
US and China.
I currently us the US-Format for dates (MM/DD/YY) and the US-Format for
amounts (99,999,999.00).
Therefore I do not use the statement decimal-point is comma.
Now my software is supposed to run in India and Turkey.
At least in Turkey they use the date-format (DD/MM/YY) which I can change.
However they use the amount (99.999.999,00). Therefore I need the decimal-
point is comma.
Anybody has knowledge how to do this dynamic depending on the account I
am in?
Otherwise just because of this, I have to copy all programs for this slight
modification.
Thanks for any help.
Sorry if this should be marked "OT". I apologize
Michael
