I have seen this problem with spoolfiles that had the misfortune of being in the
spooler during backup, waiting to print. When the backup is complete, the
offending spoolfile gets printed, but does not get deleted. I tried a bunch of
things. Eventually, I tried to change the priority. This was enough to clear it
out.
