This week we discovered a problem with the ORBIT and our database
backups. In doing a restore to a test account we found that the root
file was not being stored on the databases we had are logging. During
the backup logging is still enabled, but stopped. This apparently is
confusing ORBIT.
Has anyone else discovered this problem? We are using the on-line
option in ORBIT but not the zero down time option. We had logging
stopped but not disabled. If anyone else is using ORBIT have you had
similar problems? We are running a 979/400 on MPE 6.0 with the newest
release of ORBIT.

TIA,

Ted

Unquestionably, there is progress. The average American
now pays out twice as much in taxes as he formerly got
in wages. -H. L. Mencken
