Firstly is anyone using the MQ Series software on an MPE/iX platform.

I have a site that has the MQ Series C routines supplied to it for use
in the Posix domain. They have Cobol programs that operate from MPE.
They want to be able to call the C posix routines from the Cobol
program, but are getting unresolved externals.

They have tried the public domain compiler 'gcc' which does not compile
as an 'NMOBJ' file.

They tried adding the object file into a XL using linkedit, but the
module name was blank, so they received an unresolved external.
Linkedit understands posix files, as you can create an xl in the posix
domain, and there are RLs in the /lib directory which can be listed with
linkedit.

This, as such is not an MQ series problem, but anyone using MQ Series
software might have come across the problem. But the problem is getting
the C routines in Posix seen by the Cobol program.

Any ideas or command options would be appreciated.
