Brice,

just look at China, Cuba, Egypt or even Russia.
Pakistan is another issue.
They have so-called elections and still oppression.

Michael

--------------------------------

Russia is still an infant democratic republic.
China and Cuba have a Communist party which
determines who has permission to run, rendering
the elections nearly meaningless.
Egypt is actually fairly progressive for a country
in that part of the world.

I have not read anywhere, that even those people
have had to spend any time in the acid room.
Do any of those countries have 80% voter turnout
without having mandatory voting?
