Thus it was written in the epistle of Wirt Atmar,

There has been some talk of raising that limit. As we're shooting for a fairly
high goal and as the life of the 3000 affects numerous vendors, I'd like to
propose that vendor contributions be welcomed and that the cap be raised to
$7000 (1/22 or roughly 4.5% of the total). That should still ensure that this
is no one vendor's move and yet let those who can give more do so. Further,
I think that since amounts are not to be known, any contributor should get
equal coverage on the web page. That is, if we are just listing names, we'll
list names in some (perhaps chronological by contribution time) order, if
we're giving URLs, each contributor gets one and so forth. Further, I think
that a company donation should not preclude an individual one and vice versa.

What do y'all think?
