I use trend to protect my system.  I had a lot of Malware and I was able to
load MS security essentials with trend running.  It found several problem
and fixed them.  No more Malware!
I use Fire fox and the malware would open MS interenet explorer.

Install was easy, it required a reboot on Windows 7, I did not need one on
XP, not sure why.

It was free!
