Re: Proposed Giant HP3000 Poster in Anahiem

I love the idea of having the pages printed worldwide.

We have a DesignJet 650C Plotter. Is this good enough?
(Does it need to be the exact same model?)

If Wirt can create files to download to the Global Printer network
of DesignJets, then
perhaps putting several test files on the Web for us to
download would be good. Then we could test procedures, etc, etc
before we can call it a "Yes, I can help out for sure"

Gee, I wonder how big those files might be? We might just suck up
the whole Internet to do this, huh? :-) Maybe AT&T would go broke
trying to support the traffic... Maybe the world will stop turning ...
The sun might go dim... This could really be exciting...

But then, I would suspect some pages are all one color. So what with
compression, etc. It might take only several MB or less...
