If you compile your routine with a VERSION compiler option
(which differs based on the language), you can use the
VERSION.PUB.SYS program to display the string stored
in the code. So for example you could use something
like:
$VERSION "programname compiled on yyyy/mm/dd @ hh:mm"

You would then be able to get the information your looking for.
It can be a little messy when you have a large number of routines
in the XL, but it is a way.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Determining module compile date/time within an XL

any advice on how to determine the compile date of a module within an
XL? I've searched the Link Editor manual and can find nothing on how
to determine when a program was ADDXLed (or the compile time) to an
XL.

any and all advice is appreciated!
