There's no such thing as an "EPIC OS". There's HP-UX 11.0, which will be
running on systems based on the new IA-64 architecture (which is an "EPIC"
architecture the way PA-RISC is a "RISC" architecture), but users won't
be able to tell the difference between the PA-RISC version of HP-UX and
the IA-64 one (apart from performance we hope), so there's no special
training required.

For MPE, the version of MPE which runs on IA-64 hardware will similarly
look exactly like MPE running on today's PA-RISC boxes I would expect.
