Of course, if you want to get all of the servers and other IP address
that are currently active on your subnet, you can do the following:

nettool.net.sys
ping
rangeping

This will then prompt you for the lower IP address range and then the
upper IP address range. This will load up your cache with all of the IP
addresses and MAC addresses of the machines that are currently active
and on your subnet. Parse this info and dump it into a database and you
can build a realitively quick IP/MAC address mapping for the active IPs
at that time.
