WRQ made a presentation at this event as well. They are planning some
interesting enhancements for the future.
Web enabled Reflection
o Can launch Reflection from a browser now.
o In place activation is planned (have a pop-up terminal window in the
browser).
Browser based Reflection
o Active/X or Java-based Reflection components
o Downloaded from the Web server to client
o Automatically activate the download
o Terminal and file service components only (at first)
Additionally, when the presenter mentioned NFS and FTP file services, I
questioned him about Samba/iX. He was unaware of Samba or how it would
impact WRQ's strategy.
