I'd like to know more information re: your SM's reasons - is the
database fragmented internally or at the file level (a reload will not
help the former)?  Are you using database logging?  Is he configuring
user volume sets where there were none before?  Please let us know.

Our system manager is proposing to do a system reload on our 957.  Is this
really
necessary?  Are there other ways to get around doing this.  He claims to need
to
put databases on specific drives.  Does this make sense?
