Running FTP from the HP3000 , I need to create a file on a NT server IF THE
FILE DOES NOT EXIST otherwise end the FTP process. Using EXITONERROR and LS
I can exit if it is not there, but this is not what I want to do. I tried
to use the Variable FTPLASTERR = -13 within an embedded IF statement but can
not seem to get that to work.

If I exit when not finding the file, I can then check FTPLASTERR for -13 and
then rerun another FTP process to SEND the file. Or we can set security,on
the server, so that the FTP user cannot overwrite the file if it exist. Any
other ideas?
