1) Obviously, you should just have the board ask those PC & Mac users
write your application from scratch, then migrate your data into it.  

But bear in mind that experience has shown that to obtain realistic
development times, take the original estimate, double the figure and use
the next larger unit of measure, so you're looking at 10 hours, not 5
minutes.  OK, ignore this 1).


2) Showing my Eloquence ignorance, I've understood all this time that
it's the best of both worlds, and while not as uh robust as Oracle, it
qualifies as an RDBMS.  Not so?
