To follow-up my earlier posting about the :RESTORE problem, everything did
work out alright after :RUNning STORE.PUB.SYS with the :INFO= as stated in
the manual. If you have TurboStore, it gets invoked by :RESTORE, and since
at that point (after 5.0 SLT update) you have the 5.0 Push STORE.PUB.SYS.
Turns out it has changed dramatically and doesn't properly communicate with
the 5.0 TSTORE process. So... at least 5.0 Pull users are affected, and
possibly others.

Moral of that story: Do what the manual says, no matter how senseless it
may seem to you :-) It is there for a reason, and I found out the hard way.

Now on to my minor nit...

The telnet client won't work without SERVICES.NET.SYS defined (with telnet
service identified). Maybe it would have if I supplied a port number (hmmm,
didn't try that), but by default it won't work.

On the plus side, shutdown is much faster (we used to always timeout on a
process between Shut 4 and Shut 5 messages) and startup seems faster too.
And the old JCONFJOB step is gone to setup network services (yes!).

Now if we just had an option to get rid of those bazillion CONFxxxx groups...
