Thanks Joseph Geiser
for more detail on the Infomation Access...
and sorry for the bandwidth..
In my spare time, I wrote an Access/VBA module to simulate
the Infomation Access(old), one side is connect to a HP3000
by the ODBC/32 and the other side is transport into an Excel or a Mail.
Simply, a user open this form to select Dataset or Query
and Select a Item from Dataset, Select a Criteria form the Item,
Select a Sort from item the It automatically open Excel and writing
New Sheet with selected information.
I attached demo version on ZIP File, any one Interest???
Sorry again for the Bandwidth

Already out there with MS Office, Crystal Reports, Speedware Esperant/Media,
and a host of other products. IA hasn't been updated in years and is on the
obsolete list.

No more than US$159/seat for a simple report writer component - such as
being charged for the smaller products. For more power and control, no more
than $300-350/seat. Of course, discounts for volume seat counts.

And one forgets - it's STILL 16-bit and written for legacy Windows.
Yes, it was a great product - in it's day. I was a proponent to keep IA
around several years ago. If people still use it, that's great because
there is a level of pain to migrate to other products... but today however,
there are far superior products on the market which can do much more - and
if one is not using IA, they would be well advised to look at these other
products on the market.
